You cannot ask any simple question, even by email, and expect to get a direct and fulfilled answer from Filipino or Indian GeekBuddy. That's hours wasted on hold in chats and calls and no one responds. Hours & hours wasted in many emails, live chats and telephone calls to Geek Buddy, and there is NO CONTACT from them. I am 3 weeks in to a royal hacking of my computer now. It wasn't, at all.Īnd now, with my paid Comodo Internet Security Complete, GeekBuddy is supposed to support. ![]() Some years ago, I wasted a $99 annual "special" on GeekBuddy subscription, thinking it was to be better than the free version. ![]() What they charged me would have been reasonable (but no bargain) if I got the promised 24 hours / 7 day a week service and if their techs were able to manage common problems - My advice never pay in advance - to anyone - do monthly and demand the same price for long term commitment - and don't use Geekbuddy! My service was supposed to be 24/7 yet for the last year if I call past 5 pm No one answers the phone or the app - you are just left hanging and that forget weekends. After I get my regular tech guy to come in he says bull$#*!, they just didn't know what to do. The Malwarebytes Support Tool troubleshoots, repairs, and resolves issues with Malwarebytes for Windows. Or something else like replacing all your drivers -that you should do yourself. If they can't figure it out they tell you it's something wrong with your windows install ( even though it has worked for years) or some other such excuse, that they don't manage that remotely. I bought a 3-year license from Geek Buddy after the first year ( before the pandemic) it became clear that Geekbuddy is not able to assist except in the most basic kind of service- I am a home user -no business apps or special demands - just a regular guy with windows 10.
